I am the type of person that goes through multiple headsets in a month. Usually its caused by wires getting tangled, pulled on sides, one of the earpieces dying, or an accidental rip. I was now wondering on investing on a bluetooth computer headset. That way I won't have to mess with the wires or other things getting ripped. However, my only experience with a wireless headset involved me getting random radio stations on my head, alot of static, and a crappy receiver.

Right now I have my eye on a fairly cheap Motorola HT820 (http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-HT820-behind-neck-Bluetooth/dp/B000NNGMWE/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_a).

Has anyone here ever used a wireless bluetooth headset?
Do they get static?
Is the investment worth it the way I keep breaking my headsets?

Also, raining penises is hard for making a thread :(

Hmm, I dont have one mainy because the ones I've tried were uncomfortable. I always break headphones though due to chewing, stepping on and wires get pulled out, so I'd probably break a bluetooth headset in like 5 mins.

I rarely step on my headsets. My main problem is wires getting cought in a corner and accidentally pulling it too hard. That is why I was thinking of getting a wireless headset that doesn't have static issues.

There are countless single-earpiece Bluetooth headsets available for cell phones and you can just go to the nearest electronics superstore or cell phone shop to buy one. No particular brand recommended. Just don't handle the clip too roughly or it may break and render the headset useless.

You can also buy wireless headphones that don't use Bluetooth. I used to have a pair.

Jawbone. (http://us.jawbone.com/) That is all.

Watch the demo (http://us.jawbone.com/demo.aspx), they work just as advertised. I fucking hate talking to people using lesser quality headsets because of all the background noise that other Bluetooth headsets pickup.

Do you have one freelancer, or just want one. Yeah its great piece of kit, not even that expensive (under £100)

I think some of you are missng the point here. I want the headset for my computer, not my phone... That is why I chose the one on my post, it can be connected to the PC, and its a stereo headset.

I know you want it for your computer. You can easily get Bluetooth on your computer with a USB adapter or with a PCI card. My laptop has internal bluetooth so I often use my cellphone headset with it when gaming (the built-in mic isn't as sensitive as I'd like). I use wired headphones when I'm doing single player or listening to music, but to avoid breaking it I just wind the wire around the frame when it's not in use.

I believe Fry's does sell big wireless stereo headphones.

My friend was using some bluetooth Sony headphones (2 channel) after the 3.5mm port on his iPod broke and he liked them alot, I'll try and get a model name/number for you for and post it here.

You never said that, and Bluetooth is primarily used for cellular phones. Get a Logitech headset, a good one, you can't beat Logitech when it comes to peripherals for a good price.
