Reunion Party (Part 3)?

Seeing that some of the kids are on Spring Break and some college folks are going home for Easter. I thought it would be a good idea to see if anyone would be down/free for a Reunion Party Attempt.

Tired of the ol' Bloodgulch, Coldsnap, and No Shield Snipers crap I've seen for so long. If support is high enough, we'll get one going, otherwise forget it cause it would be a waste of time. :rolleyes:

Should make a registration "form" or something. The server's going to be 16-man, so people should sign up for a time to be in there. This would alleviate "oh damn it, server's full i want in" and also help players get together with other people they'd prefer playing with.

You could try having the map that's running allow for more than 16 players via the globals... dunno how well the game would handle it though.

Uh, what? Absolute maximum is defined by the engine, not a tag.

It's been tried before and the game itself gets unstable with more than 16 players.

It makes the server list show more than 16 slots, but only 16 can be filled. Going over that causes an exception.

Since this is a Reunion Party, what should the limit be set at? Which means someone has to have been in the community for a year/two years/three years/ beginning, otherwise they cannot join (unless this becomes a failed attempt :downs:). That type of thing. Your call.
