I wouldn't say it's morbid. It's dark, but it's not morbid. I see no death or suggestion of death.

This dude is right. Some of the stuff the Imperium does is pretty dark. IE Mortifactors (I think that's their name, the other demon-like Space Marine Chapter from Warriors of Ultramar book)
