So I've had a really bad cold for the past week. Coughing, congestion, stuffed-ass nose, etc. Really miserable. Haven't been able to sleep properly between all the coughing, waking up with back aches, etc.

Then yesterday my ear started to hurt like a bitch. Used a cue tip, felt a bit itchy in one area. Slowly started scraping at that area. Blood. So what's my response? Get the blood out by submerging my head in water.

The water didn't come out.

Now the next morning, my ear is ringing louder than I've ever heard, and I'm half deaf in that ear

Anyone know if this is just temporary?

Definitely see a doctor. You probably did get an ear infection from the water trapped in there.

Have you tried getting it out by jarring your head to the side that has the filled ear?

Of course.

When the water first got caught in there and I tried to tilt my head in a way that it would flow out, it felt more clogged, whereas if I tilted it so the water goes in, my hearing was actually more clear. Now it doesn't make a difference, it's just ringing

Also tried to go to the clinic today but they all seem to be closed until monday..

Im going to a ear specialist on Monday. Basically they put this big suction thing in the ear and have a computer screen to see what is wrong. :|

Yeah, you've definitely got an ear infection. A professional would be a good idea, because an ear infection can make you go deaf. Not fun. This happens to my dad all the time, he's been getting ear infections since he was wee lad. What they'll do is give you antibiotics to clear the infection, (which should take from a few days up to a week or two depending on how bad the ear infection is) and they'll give you these crazy drops for the pain and the ringing.

Plug your nose and close your mouth and try to blow air out your nose. Don't try it TOO hard though, just see if you can get it out that way.
My ear got clogged up like a motherfucker last summer, the doc had to shoot water in my ear it was SICK.

Basically I had a big-ass wax build up, so they flushed out my ear with a syringe and a huge fucking chunk of wax came out. So they checked me out, and yeah I definitely have an inner ear infection, behind the drum. Ear's still ringing, but I can hear out of it better. They gave me a prescription for some Amoxicillin for the infection and Cheratussin for the cold. Bad ass

Also I'd try the weed thing if I weren't such a pussy about illegal shit (says someone with gigs of music), but I've always heard that weed does practically no harm to the body. At least when it's filtered.

If you filter it you'll get less painkilling, appetite enhancing, sleep-giving, goodness. Unless you mean use a bong, in which case, DO IT FAGGOT.

Also, THC kills old cells that become cancerous, which means that despite the (relatively small) amount of carcinogens that would go into you lungs, in the end you're less likely to develop lung cancer (or any other kind of cancer.)
