Huh. Maybe we should stop posting stories like these? It really is a run-through discussion. We start talking about how we feel it's a silly idea to link the two events, cue "only in America", then a couple people post about how they're losing faith in humanity. In the end, the thread gets ignored, and just fills up space in the off-topic forums. Just saying.

On topic: It's silly to relate these two events. Kid was probably crazy to begin with.

Someone has gotten killed over Halo 3 (an Xbox 360 game), and someone almost got killed waiting in line for a PS3. I wonder what the Wii is going to cause someone to do?

Of course I don't buy all of this "Video Games causes Violence" bullshit. The sheer number of people who play violent games compared to the amount of people who actually kill people and blame it on games is too large of a gap to be explained away by lazy parents and greedy politicians.

I can see where that guy is going *the guy who said that* lets say you relate it to a gullible kid...

When they see someone do something or something happen, they tend to copy that thing (when they think they can)...

But this guy is 17, that's fucking ridiculous...

And yea lame excuse...

But if you think about, if his parents took away his favorite toy, (at that age?) he could end up doing the same thing.

But DAMN what a dumb kid.

Once again, DGAF unless it is near my community. I pity those who live in provinces/counties/boroughs where crimes like these occur.
