I have it in EVERY GAME I PLAY! For some reason whenever I use my router to connect to the internet I get between 200 and 600 ping. Happens on CoD4 happens on Halo 3 happens on Halo CE happens on TF2 etc etc etc

There could be a PC on your network that has some kind of malicious program sappin' ur bandwidth.

Its not related to the computer because it happens on xbox but it could be some virus or ass hole stealing my internet down the street. Anyway I can monitor network activity like which programs are sending/receiving packets?

Obvious, but if you have wireless, remember to check that it is using a good encryption method. It could also be that your ISP is having problems with broadband, maybe at peak times?

e: just read it only happens when you connect it up to router, do you normally connect it straight into the back of the xbox 360?

I had this a while ago when I used my laptop 24/7.. Then a while after I stopped using it my xbox connection got alot better, so it could just be on of your computer using up some of the internet? But then again, that wouldn't make any sense for the pc games.
