a new cpu fan. i'm not use to racking up 125° on my cpu. and that was in Celsius....
suggestions, though I'm inclined to go with zalman, i'm up for any suggestions. am2 socket.

125C?! Just pour salt water on it. salt water is the best way to cool pc electronics, the salt stops it from short circuiting. trust me

Seriously though, make sure the heat sink is making contact with the CPU, that the fan is spinning and that it isn't clogged with dust. Could probably use some thermal paste as well.
What are you using to measure your temperatures? And can you please post more detailed specifications for your computer so we can pick a better heatsink on the off chance that you need one?

Haven't really had time to do proper maintenance on the poor thing, what with work and classes. Heat sink fell off the little bugger, so it's all fixed up. Also, I wasn't trolling, I have ss's of the temp.
