So there's a lego store that's opening nearby on May 14th. I am excited.
Very, very excited. I've already begun scoping out things I want; I'm looking for a project that is not only awesome but reasonably priced.

I would go for the Taj Mahal (http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=10189&cn=52&d=100), but that's a hefty price tag...
Regardless, which one should I go for, Modacity?

e: I forgot to mention whichever is chosen will have pictures taken of it through the process of building it.

That said, I think the 787 would be an interesting choice, E: 26x27 inches, got damn. Whatever you think will look best on your shelf (and what you'll want to rebuild again and again).

I have a giant tower of boxes full of pieces next to my PCs that I organized by now 5 or 6 years ago.

I must suggest that at some point you build one of the things from www.brickcommander.com, that guy has seriously good stuff. I've built a Cougar, Bushwacker, Timber Wolf, Summoner, Dire Wolf, Uller, and Mad Dog (the latter of the two were sadly scrapped) using instructions for that site. I've got parts for a Hellbringer sitting around, but I never got to building it...

Agreed, the only problem is that whenever I did that I could never get enough of one color for certain components so my structures always have rainbow colors. Sometimes it looks cool, sometimes it looks fugly. But yeah, building your own stuff is the way to go.

It ended imo after they phased out the original Toa, the Bohrak, and the Rahkshi. The Rahskhi were the most badass enemy I swear.

I've got the Death Star II (http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=10143) BNIB as well, haven't bothered to crack the seal to even take a look...

I'll work on them this summer probably. My biggest issue is that I'm to lazy to sort my pieces, so I spend FOREVER looking for the right ones and it gets boring real fast.
