I don't know why I even bother buy Capcom games anymore. Every time I get one and pop it in my system all I get is a colorful display of mediocrity. I'm dumbfounded by the Devil May Cry series and Capcom's older games. They were good, they were honestly really good.

I was iffy with RE4. I despise 5.

If I'm met with a mini boss in the beginning of the game before I even know what the fuck to do, AND NO AMMO. Then it sucks.

If I can figure out who a shaded character really is before I reach the halfway mark of the game. It sucks.

If I can calculate a mini boss's demise by observing my surroundings in less than 3 seconds. It sucks.

If my partner shoots one bullet every 10 to 15 seconds. Then it bloody sucks.

I want to hear your thoughts, give me your pros about this game. Because I can barely play it.

Pros: You can return it.
Cons: Not in the writing/ranting mood. Go watch Yahtzee's review instead.

Pros: It looks good. Coop is moderately enjoyable
Cons: Difficulty curve is extreme. Everything done has been done before.

Btw, Lost Planet and the older Devil May Cry games were good, but I will admit that lately, they've been slipping.

Like I said, I'm not even half way through the game, maybe at some point I'll be hit with a video game revelation and fall in love with it.

I also got condemned. I fucking loved it.

Condemned is fucking excellent, despite making me almost piss my pants in fear.

Condemned is awesome, just don't buy the sequel. Or, if you do, stop about 1/3rd of the way in, and start after the first level.

Resident Evil 5's gameplay was outstanding in coop, but it was not Resident Evil. Capcom is beginning to lose sight of what the series was about, survival horror. I've been a fan of Resident Evil for awhile now, and I've played and beaten the majority of them aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnd... Its gameplay is great, but its no longer survival horror, its action. Capcom is looking too much at other games for "inspiration", and also trying to please the fans too hard. Resident Evil adapted way too many features from games like Gears and Halo. Oh, and there's also the fact that the game surrounded around coop. Single players like you Teek were a bit alienated, which of course sucks.

Resident Evil 4 on the other hand, was Resident Evil imo. It kept the Resident Evil "shock" horror style while while still keeping it nice and atmospheric. It felt less like "TWO PERSON WRECKING CREW FUCKKKKKKKKKKK" and more... Gloomy and horror like? I'm at loss for a better way to describe it.

If I wanted an action zombie game, I would've played L4D.

Resident Evil 4 was fuckign awesome.

Not scary in the slightest but fun all the way through.

RE5 was kind of fun in co-op, but overall just felt like RE4 reskinned and with all the creativity taken out. Hell, even 90% of the animations were ripped straight from RE4.

bleh. I got so bored halfway through I haven't even finished it, and probably never will.

I think Ultama summed it up well. I also CAN'T GET PASSED THE FUCKING CROCODILES.

I heard that Condemned 2 sucked about halfway through.
