I went to the doctors on monday for a checkup right? They prescribed something for my acne (because it's on my back and such). So me and my dad go to the pharmacy that same day to pick up the drug. I've been taking that drug for about 4 days now. Come to find out, we got the wrong prescription. Instead of whatever drug we were supposed to get, we got a drug called lorazepam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorazepam), which is supposed to be for depression, and is also a muscle relaxer. It says that it's addictive, but I hope i'm not addictive to it.

And oh yeah, we found out it wasn't ours because the name on the bottle had one wrong letter in it.

Now I know why I haven't felt sad for a few days, and why I can't lift weights for shit :|

I'd make a complaint if I was you. I'm assuming you live in USA where you guys pay out the ass for medical help, they clearly didnt help you.

Just imagine if the medication was for a life threatening illness like insulin for diabetics, if you get the wrong type you can die.

Sucks you got wrong stuff though and yea you might get addicted.

Well so far we probably aren't going to sue, but hopefully we will get our money back. My dad is never getting any pharmaceuticals from that place again, that's for sure.

Not true. My parents both work for the government and thus get amazing health care. My sister, who classifies as their dependent. paid 5 dollars to have her baby. The American government: It does good things for the people as long as they'll take shit pay and horrible working conditions for free stuff.

But in all seriousness, if you have a sudden urge to take more anti-depressants, go to a rehab clinic. Other then that, look for a refund (unless of course you have to go to rehab, at which point sue them for the costs).

I don't know how addictive that particular drug is, but I know some painkillers where you can get addicted in one use.
