Slower ROF, pinpoint accuracy. Not sure about damage though.

While the revolver is accurate, shots from battlement to battlement on 2fort aren't guaranteed hits. This will give the spy a little more power at range, like hanging back and picking off enemies while they're preoccupied.

Just a simple tradeoff, like the blutsauger. The blut is an exchange of crits for health recovery, this is an exchange of quick firing for pinpoint accuracy.

The main point of being sniper is to take out key targets to make it easier for the rest of your team. A medic with an uber ready can be very dangerous.

What? It's most likely an achievement unlocked when killing a Medic with 100% charge with the Huntsman.

Remember: the Huntsman only pins dead/barely alive players to walls. Not everyone. Think of the HL2 crossbow, but with a little less instant kill.

i prefer the old system, smash some achievements by playing the game and your rewarded for it, who cares if people will exploit it and get the achievements first.

It's not really WoWish, it's less MMO and more TCG. I think the reason it's gotten that title because you have to grind toward getting what you want. The reason I say TCG over MMO is not just because of the trading system, but because MMO grinding at least has specific goals to each grind. In this case, you're just spending more and more time hoping to get what you want (if anything at all) through a grab-bag.

Achievement rewarding really ought to return. Sure, some of them were really hard, but I think tweaking that system a bit would be much better than this. In fact, I'll even implement those stupid hats in my idea:
25%: Item 1
50%: Item 2
75%: Item 3
100%: Stupid hat. Grats, fatass
This way, most people could get the items that actually matter without having to do the ungodly boosty-grindies (i.e. Kill Everyone You Meet).

Quick edit for another thought: With duplicates, this would mean that item farming would be possible. So I guess it is an MMO in that sense. But my question is why bother with duplicates? Was it really hard to add an

ok, so last night I played demo for 2 1/2 hours (my least played class) and got nothing. Not even dupes. Today I played medic (second most played class) and, in the space of 1 hour, got the razorback, sandvich and the Bonk! energy drink.

Makes me think that the longer you've played a certain class the better chance you've got.

I played a total of 13 minutes with the medic, why would it unlock a weapon used by him as apposed to the sniper which I have 13+ hours as?

Cause it keeps telling me that it cant connect to the steam server and I have to play in offline mode. Antivirus wasnt affecting it, firewall wasnt, so idk. Restarting my computer fixed it tho.
