I read the book, probably won't see the movie.
Book was incredible though, so was the Da Vinci Code. I went in knowing that I would be tricked into thinking it was some guy who we were obviously supposed to think it was, and fell for it a second time, even after reading the Da Vinci Code :saddowns:

I can't stand Tom Hanks, but is the film that good?
And do I need to have seen the Da Vinci Code first?

Angels and Demons is a prequel to The Da Vinci Code.
Read the book (get the illustrated one), fuck the movie.

"Angles and demons :O"
Myfavorite part was when they turned 342° left.

I've heard that both adaptations were pretty mediocre compared to the books, but hey I haven't seen or read either. :downs:

I just saw it, pretty good.
There are like, 12 twists in it, though. Same thing with the Da Vinci code.
But it was a prequel? I thought it was a sequel... =S

I want to read the book. I think the movie would be at least decent though if the critics are so highly ecstatic about it.

I saw it last night, I thought it was pretty darn good. I never read the book but my brother did, and he said it wasn't as enjoyable for him because he knew the twists. Obviously the story was good, and I'd say the did a good job representing it on screen.

Get the illustrated version from a bookstore or something. The general consensus is that the movie is worse than the book. I haven't seen it myself so I can't really vouch for that but you get where I'm going with this.
I did read the book, and it kept me reading nonstop until I finished it. It also lowered my marks... but that's a different story!

Sounds like more of the same shit.
I'll rather get my dose of american statements on religion, relationshit drama and ridicoulous conspiracies on the intarwebs.

There's one thing I've always seen to be common to all Dan Brown books:
The good leadership-role guy turns out to be the villain.
