Okay, so I ordered 3 X360's that where bricked on ebay for 95$
They came in, I got two of them repaired, but one still gives me the RROD after doing the Xclamp fix, so I'm thinking about ordering the Hybrid Xclamp kit.
If anyone has any suggestions before I do so, feel free to spit them out :P

It could just be dead. Did you try overheating it first to be sure that it was a heat-induced RROD?

I did do the overheat trick that is often required after the xclamp
Same problem, could be that I have to heat it for longer.

Well I was wondering it you tried it before taking anything apart, because the towels should tell you if the box will work after repairing it.

Maybe try it again for longer this time. Wrap it extra-good and let it run extra-long. And I guess just be sure that the clamp is on well enough.

If it doesn't work, it was probably an actual hardware failure that if beyond your repair.

I didnt wrap it in a towel, that damages it, I did another form of heating it up.
I now have error 0110, which means it is a RAM error
I now gotta get a heatgun that goes to 200*C

I tried the penny fix, it failed, so I'm just going to wait until I can get a 200*c heatgun and reflow the ram chips.

You're not going to fix RAM errors with a heatgun.

But don't you know? ALL Xbox 360 errors MUST be caused by heat issues!!!

There is no faulty hardware, only faulty cooling.

There is no faulty hardware, only faulty cooling....And what is the cooling? software?
:downs:
If the x clamp has failed it maybe a issue with the GPU BGA package comming loose which i doubt will be easily fixed, you can try to reflow the solder but remember the solder is non leaded which takes a hell of alot more heat to melt than leaded solder.
Im not so sure 200*C will do it to be quite frank...

Actually its the other way around, lead free solder, which the xbox 360 uses melts at lower temperatures, therefore so many heat problems occur.
I think I'm going to have to reflow the bga (aka ram chips) and see if that helps considering i now have error 0110 when i previously had error 0102

I think that you missed the sarcasm in my post, Pyong and Warlord.
