I'm quite into photography and saw reaper had a topic about his pictures, so I was just wondering if there were any others out there. Anyone else into photography? What gear do you have?

Right now I have an XSi, with the kit 18-55 IS lens, a 50 f/1.8 prime, and just replaced my 75-300 f/4-5.6 with the 70-200 f/2.8 USM IS L lens(my baby). Looking into a tripod too, but haven't done much research on that yet.

I've got a Canon 400D (I think it's the XTi for americans), 100mm f/2.8 Macro, 18-55 kit lens and 50mm f/1.8 prime lens i've yet to use. Got any photos to share?

Ya, I have a few on my deviant art account, but I think they are from before I got my XSi and was still borrowing the art department's camera. I still haven't gotten the time to go through the hundreds of pictures on my computer. One of these days I'm going to have to go through them all.

I'm jealous of the 100mm macro, I think that might be my next purchase.

Some nice stuff there. You should go ahead and make a gallery thread with some of your favorites.

I'm into photography, but not seriously. Meaning I enjoy taking photos and think I take good ones, but I have a shitty camera. A regular digital camera.

I have the Canon Rebel XS with the base lens (18-55mm) and an old (I mean old) 75-300mm Telephoto lens.

Been looking into some macro lens or 50mm f/1.8 lens.

Photography is simply a hobby for me. My only photodump right now is pictures I took during my recent band / orchestra trip to Hawaii (http://hawaii.phpwnage.com)*. Quality ranges from utterly horrible to rather good. My camera is a Canon PowerShot S5iS aka "I want to look like I have an SLR but can't afford actually having an SLR".

* Indexing script is my own creation. Feel free to report any bugs.

Holga CFN
Exakta Varex IIa

Carl Zeiss Jena 58mm f/2

Sigma 28-105mm f/2.8-4
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DL Macro

People sorta give me their old camera gear, I've only had to pay for the Sb-600, the 50mm, the 35mm and part of the D300, so it's not like I'm some idiot who throws away money on old cameras, though I absolutely love classic cameras and hope to own a Leica M6 one day.

Film-wise I shoot mainly Provia and Velvia films, for black and white I use either T-Max or when I'm willing to pay extra, Ilford Delta film. I usually buy and rate my films at 100ASA, though I do shoot the classic Velvia 50.

All the SLRS with the exception of the Holga and the Rollei shoot 135 format (35mm), the other two shoot 120 format, while my Olympus Pen shoots half-frame shots on 135.

Currently, my main style of photography is street photography, I'm following Henri Cartier-Bresson's Decisive Moment concept, as well as Eugène Atget's idea of photographically recording old things before they change (though I was already doing so before I had heard of either of these photographers, now I can actually describe them though).

As hunter said the colors are nice, but I think you could have found a more interesting subject. For instance along side that fence there.
