I feel it needs new mods on it, now that the spam bots are gone forever.

I want to know, if anyone has ever owned/modded and or admined/was a user on a phpBB forum, please tell me some good mods for the forum.

Currently the forum is on 3.04, so any mods for that board would be great.

I used that, and have gotten no spam bots for about 6-9 hours, normally during that time 3 or 4 would sign up.

Edit: Also, bacon, what mods did you have?

Edit: at 11:23 EST, no spam bots have registered. Seriously it works, try it.

I know this is going to sound retarded, but I have head of the tools called: "EasyMod" and "AutoMod".

It sounds like they automatically install the mods, however I do not know if I should use them or not.

Suggestions?

its always better to do it manually.... that way you know its done right.

EasyMod only works on phpbb2, AutoMod is for phpbb3 but it's EXTREMELY picky and doesn't work half the time. Manual installation is the way to go.
