This isn't the first time this has happened, and it was a problem before SP2. Any ideas? I tried replacing wlsrvc.dll and all kinds of restarting, all to no avail.

That sometimes does that with mine, just restore it to before you did stuff to it and wait a bit, it will go back to normal the next time it updates the weather

Shit, installation of SP2 removed my system restores. Is it just screwed now?

You should be fine. try giving it some time.

Did you try changing the location in the options menu? That usually works for me.
