I'm Back. Kinda.

So here's the deal.

People who know me as a little more (or in this case, less) than that guy with the googly-eyed avatar who posts on Halo forums know my current situation, but for those of you who I don't pester on AIM constantly, here it is in a nutshell: I'm unemployed and can't find a job because nobody's hiring. Coupled with some other events that happened around the job loss, I've been a bit unstable. I've had nothing to do during the days, and lately it's been a bit depressing.

So, until things start to look up, I'm stepping up to administration here again. I'm not taking active roles in policing or planning; I'm here to do some work under the hood. Not making any promises as to what I'm doing and getting done, but what you need to know is that I'm back, albeit intermittently.

The problem is, everyone nowadays hides behind online applications. Nothing is personal anymore; you fill out the app online and wait for them to call because either the employer doesn't want you to call them, or in the case of most retail chains, the stores themselves don't handle Human Resources (e.g. RadioShack), so hiring decisions are made by corporate.

While I'm lucky (?) enough to have a full-time job (albeit herding little 12-year-old fucks), the road there was comprised heavily of shitty sales positions and such. I feel for ya, brah.
