View Full Version : How do I create lightmaps with Aether?

First, I know that I can't actually make lightmaps in Aether, and that you use Max to do that (or Maya).

What I'd like to know is how do I use the lightmaps Aether gets and edit them in Max or how, based upon the lightmaps mesh and bitmaps, create a better lightmap. Right now, I have 6 bitmaps and 6 pieces of a lightmaps mesh, and I could render lightmaps by looking at which pieces have their own bitmaps, but I think this is a brute force approach.

Any help would be appreciated.
