If you don't have a picture on that mount you should take it out of the wall

I can't find the "Active Camo - Do not machine wash" tag on it anywhere though!

It happens when you're trying to be cool and move really fast through a photo, next time stand still to take it.

What?

Find the solution to active camo. Damn you're awesome, the Japs been doing this for us and still haven't gotten it working yet.

what cam are you using?

The only thing I can think of if you're not moving is kinda like the plasma burn effect on your thingy ma-gig(yeah I forgot the technical name of it, it's the thing that replaced film).

another reason is you have slow shutter and you accidentally moved your leg.

Long exposure, note the motion blur.

The webcam must've continued taking the photo after you stepped out of the frame. When you stood still enough to reflect enough light to register as solid in the picture, you stepped out, moving too fast for the camera to capure in the low light, then the bookshelf (obviously stationary) was picked up.

This commonly (albeit deliberately) happens when one syncs a flash to the second curtain.

L2photography, the concept isn't that difficult. I'm surprised you couldn't suss this out yourself >_>
