Alright, does anyone have any clue WHAT THE FUCK is in my house causing me to be allergic in here. Just in here. I was at wild waves all day today and I did not even have a stuffed nose. The moment I walked back into the house this afternoon I IMMEDIATELY started having a plugged nose and started coughing and sneezing. Seriously. What the fuck could it be. It's not the cats, i've had them for years. Same with the dog. It's not the scotchbroom, I'm fine when I go outside. What the fuck man. This has been bothering me for weeks upon weeks now and I'm fucking tired of it.

Do you have any other symptoms that develop from prolonged exposure? Go to an allergist and have an allergy test. They'll probably to the scratch test and find something if you're that sensitive. It could be mold, by the way.

By the way, this is a BRAND new house (2006) and it would be very unlikely that it would be mold. I don't know of any allergists around here. There is no real symptoms from prolonged exposure. I cough and sneeze and the sneezes tend to be kinda messy. Also occasionally my eye itches crazy and I have to put ice to it.

Filthy unwashed underware?
Maybe there are rats in your cutlery drawer that you dont know about?
There could be any number of reasons for this, you should start with a good wire brushing of your balls.

How long has it been happening relative to you living in that house?
And just because you can't see mold doesn't mean it isn't there.

Happening since the past 3-4 weeks. I usually don't pay attention to it and it clears up usually for an hour every now and then but does, and WILL come back.

Quoted for truth.
dont you have like 14 cats or something rediculous?
my brother used to guzzle heaps of dairy products daily, eventually his body said no more and now he gets nosebleeds when he has them.

Yeah, mold can grow pretty quickly. It only takes a few weeks for it to grow.

Pet allergies can be developed overtime.This. Ever since the last two years I've been allergic to my cat, and I never was before. Try picking one up and then rubbing your eyes without washing them. If your eyes start to itch a shit-ton and you begin to sneeze and stuff, then you've developed an allergy.

Aw, shitty. I guess I am allergic to cats.
Thanks alot flyinrooster, now I have to ice my eyes. Ow this hurts.
Also, Bod, I don't have 14 cats anymore. I have 5. Most of them dissapear into the backyard and never come back (they're mainly outdoor cats, but they sleep indoors), because they bring in rats and birds and such and we know they'll be able to live out there.

Yeah, you probably feel like I did at my aunt's house. People drop off cats they dont want there so they've got like 25 of them. Only 4 are allowed in the house, but it's enough to make me miserable all day if I'm over there.

not exactly a positive influence on the environment around them though are they.
that's my biggest problem with them. I prefer to see the native birds and animals cruising around the yard :/

Well, here in Washington, we have trees..... and trees...... and trees. So really, you can't find them.
Also: people don't drop off the cats here, its just that the 1 girl cat out of every litter gets pregnant, and then the girl cat out of that one gets pregnant so it just grows exponentially.

you could always get them de-sexed.

And it's usually too late by the time we get them de-sexed (1 year old)

So I broke out in fever last night at my grandma's house. It sucked but I nuked the fever when I woke up so I feel better than ever. My throat is fine, one of my nostrils is still plugged, and my eyes aren't itching so I think I'll go ahead and lock this unless I break out in swine flu.
