We have movie night at my house every Friday. It is a nice way to be with the family, and it also let's me know that there are still movies out there that are good.

This is a thread for movie night ideas, marathons, dorm room get togethers, and the like.

So, for example, Eraser by Arnold Schwarzenegger (I just lol'd; Firefox had his last name stored in the stock dictionary).

Anyway, any good movies you guys know of? I have some others that'll I'll post later on.

Just get the LOTR extended edition DVDs...

That's 17 hours of nonstop walking action haha (seriously... the extended edition DVDs together = 17 hours of film)

I second Lord of the Rings and the original Star Wars trilogy. I also raise you Trek 2-4, 6, 8, and the most recent. The Orphanage was also really good, if it hasn't been mentioned yet.

it might be me but I'm not going to sit down with my family and watch pokémon the first movie. Great movie but I prefer watching it alone
