Ok, so here's the story. A few days ago I purchased a fan to exhaust air out of my computer because it was getting a touch bit warm. Nothing major though. So I'm not worried about that. But after that day, I fixed up another one of my fans. So I had a total of five fans running in my computer. Didn't think it was a big deal. After having everything hooked up for a while, I started noticing my computer lagging horribly and programs were randomly freezing. A problem I've never had... Then today I was here on Modacity. And firefox froze again. But this time, instead of it recovering like it usually did. I got something along the lines of "Instructions at 0x7662e920...Blah...Required data not placed in memor... Blah... I/O Error". My bottom taskbar was gone, and the only thing open was Firefox. So then I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del for the task manager, and then I get "Logon process has failed to create the security options dialog." So I'm like "Ugh..." and I restart my computer. Well then suddenly I'm getting boot errors and it's not recognizing my hdd. So I restart several times, and still nothing. But I can feel the HDD spinning a bit and making some clicking sounds. Of course, my first thought was that the HDD was dying on me. But then I unplugged three of my fans, and suddenly everything booted up. But as I type right now, my monitor seems very, very dim, compared to the brightness and usual quality. I know it's not the monitor because I can still adjust the brightness and what not and it all looks ok.
So I guess my major question is... Is it the Power supply (450W Maximum 'Whatever that means')? Or is something else being dumb. My money is on the power supply, but I wanted a second opinion.
