One of my speakers seems to have broken, and only the bass works. The tweeter and mid aren't. I think I accidentally pulled it out when I was moving stuff around. Thing is, I have no idea how to open the thing up and fix it.

Here's some pics of the speaker:

It seems like the only place where things to undo are in the front, and I don't think those can hold on everything.

I don't want to have to trash this, considering I currently don't have anymore speakers around. I have everything needed to re-soder it if it came undone too, so it's no problem there. So if anyone knows anything about taking apart speakers, help D:

drill a 3/4 hole into the upper right hand corner. take any saw you can fuckin find and cut along the back around the edges. problem solved.

This is simple as fuck dude. I used to build custom enclosures all the time. All you have to do is remove the speaker from the front, if the wires came off, reach into the hole, grab your wires, note the positive and negative connections (most likely they'll actually have female connectors that you just clip onto the back, which will be labeled as positive and negative).

Reconnect, reinstall speaker, done.

E: If you need i'll do a demo for you with a set i have already disassembled and laying around.

Yeah, I have no idea how to take the front off. The allen screws seem to be fake.

I know this isn't the actual speaker you own, but it's from sony, and may lend some help to your situation.

Sorry about the shitty quality. If you want the actual service manual, it's like 15 bucks. Fuck that.
