Slow Internet?

Okay so for a long time, I've had really slow internet, pages take ages to load, like 8 - 10 seconds. Its not as bad as 56k but its pretty close to the crappy speed.

What I don't get though, is when I do a speed test, it works really fast...(I usually get like 2Mb/s on the tests)

Internet slowness happens on any site, google, youtube,modacity etc...

Try flushing your DNS cache.

I had this happen to me too, not many people gave me the response necessary. :mech:

But anyway, try doing that, and also do the usual scan and destroy stuff.

Also, one thing to try: Unplug your modem/router and wait for 30 seconds. See if that works.

I hate my upload. Why don't you call up your provider and ask them what's going on?

I have ASDL thats why my upload is rubbish, but it allows me to have a faster download.

It seems to have improved after doing the DNS flushing, if I have any more problems I'll ring the ISP. It happens on every pc on network though, not just this one.

Update:

Well I accidentally reset my router whilst plugging it back in, settings all defaulted which fucked it up, had to ring up ISP and they had no idea, rang up D-Link and they said router was fried so bought a new one and Internet works again :D:D
