In 3 hours we will celebrate 233rd anniversary of the birth of the United States of America. This country has been through a lot, especially in the past 8 years. We've been the target of hatred, controversy and general discontent, even within our own nation. From it's beginning this nation has been for the people, of the people, and by the people. Our government may have lost sight of that purpose many years ago, but it's this nation I have faith in, not it's government.

It has many flaws, but so do other countries. I will stand by the United States of America for as long as I live.

Ya well, I wish my grandfather was to live for one more day. He fought in world war 2 for the u.s and has seen a lot and I was hoping he would of made it to the 4th. Looks like he won't though since he just past away today. I'm still going to wish him a happy 4th of July. God bless America! Happy independence day people!

I have some mortars left-over from last year. It's illegal to set them off where I live, even through that never stopped me from setting them off (otherwise why would I have left-overs). I have one issue though this year. Last year none of my neighbors would care about mortars. I mean most of them set off their own or used some other form of illegal fireworks (the only legal ones within city limits are the ones that shoot sparks about a foot into the air), but this year I have new next-door neighbors, one of which happens to be a sheriff's deputy. Now I can't set off any (good) fireworks.

This Independence Day won't be right unless I can find out how to distract him. I wonder if cake will work...

AMERICA, FUCK YEAH!

Set off tons of fireworks (mostly illegal ones for the state of Oregon), ate lots of food, hung out with friends and family. My neighborhood definitely had the best firework displays. We would coordinate ourselves and set off 8 mortars in sequence along with some other smaller fireworks. No one called the cops for once either. Probably one of the best Fourth of Julys I've had so far.

And to finish it all off, took the Mustang out and floored it a bit in the driveway. B)

E: And also one more thing, found out I have a fungus called ring worm. Gay.

oh you lucky bastard xet. in pa, it's illegal to buy fireworks if you live in state, and they'
re illegal to sell in the surrounding states as well. we couldn't find a stand that would sell to us. so we just all got really drunk instead, went swimming, and barbecued tasty chicken and ribs down by the beautiful Schuylkill river.

Threw a party at my grandpa's mansion (that he doesn't live in) on the bay, and had some friends over. Someone brought a shitload of illegal fireworks, ones that go way up in the air. We shot them off the dock out into the bay and lit off firecrackers and shit. Cooked some burgers and dogs and swam in the pool.

No booze for us though, my parents were there and horded it all.
