Checked the usual suspects, didn't see them. Need to know so I can avoid re-favouriting a few hundred sites, half of which I can't even remember the links to.

You mean bookmarks? Get on AIM, I'll lead you to it.

Get the xmarks addon (formerly foxmarks) and it saves all the bookmarks that you've got. If you reformat, just download the addon again and put in your credentials and you can download all your bookmarks (and passwords if you choose to have them stored) again.

Sorry I don't know the real answer to your question. :\

e: Also didn't mention that it saves the bookmarks you add as soon as you exit firefox, or if you right click the icon in the lower right corner and hit synchronize.

Ugh, it's in application data.

Go into your application data folder, find the Mozzila/Firefox folder, then find the Users folder, your user will either be on randomly made folder or something you've made and will recognize. Open it up, the bookmarks are in there.

Or do

Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Backup...

Additionally, if you accidentally delete something, you can restore a recent "bookmark" of your bookmarks with the restore menu.
