AT&T DSL + Garry's Mod + Ventrillo = Disaster.

Apparently having Ventrillo and Garry's Mod open at the same time, along with having DSL service from AT&T, causes my internet to fail.

I play a game of Zombie Survival on Gmod, while having vent open because the server has mic's off. All of the sudden, I ghost walk (I walk a few feet, then get put back 3-4 spaces back, and slowly walk back to where I was) and then sit there for about 30 seconds. Then the Connection Lost box appears in the top right corner, along with the sound of Ventrillo losing connection, and then finally, to top it all off, lose my entire internet connection.

It's really weird. I would like this fixed quick.

By the way, I did not know where should I put this, since it applys to the Garry's Mod forum.

Works fine for me, with my 1.5mb. Vent or teamspeak with any game. even when i had 768k it worked fine. strange stuff.

It's kinda tech related since it's a network issue but eh.

Have you tried it without vent?

Has it always been doing this?

I doubt it, but maybe the vent server your on has same port as Gmod? When you say internet fails do you mean Internet to everything? (webpages etc).

Weird, I have the 3mbps service and all of it works fine.
