This isn't CE related, so I'll post it here.
Ok, this is a nub question for sure, but I am, so there. Anyways, I need to get both textures and wireframe in Max, and none of the options are allowing for it. All I get is this:

I can't see edges or segments, and it's making this really hard...
Halp, pl0x!
P.S. +Rep will be given! :D
e: It also doesn't matter what colour I use for the poly, just in case that might be it. Edges are still missing.

One thing I might suggest, apply a material on the model that has a lower transparency, then you can see through the model and see the texture below. Or right click model and go top properties, then check See-Through.

I don't know if f4 does it in max 6, but you can try pressing that to toggle it.

Yeah, I would if it hadn't gone and started crashing every time I try to start up Max. Gives me some licensing error that should be theoretically fixed by a reboot, but isn't.
:(
I did have another problem though. The material is now on the inside of the model, so I see the inside but the outside is simply a wireframe...how do I fix that?

Sounds like the Autodesk licensing service isnt running.
Start > Run type "services.msc". When it loads up make sure Autodesk Licensing is running. If not double click it and start it.

Already ripped the whole thing off the computer including registry keys...:embarrassed:. I'll try that if the problem reappears after a reinstall.
I did back up my WIPs though. =D

This warrants another post:
Here's a picture of what's wrong. It's only like this on the stock of the gun, the barrel and magasine tube are fine.

I can't help but feel like it has something to do with the way I mirrored it, which was admittedly completely by accident.

Put it into edit poly, then select by face, select the whole stock, and hit 'flip'.
