Corrupt AVI file header

I've googled everywhere for this but can't find a fix that works for me, so I've fallen back here for some help.

I have used Camstudio to capture some video from my screen but the AVI file apparently has a corrupt header. I wanted to know if there was anyway I could repair it.

Its about 3.2GB and captured at a 1680x1050 resolution.

First, see if you can convert it to another format with something like ffmpeg or mencoder (available as EXE's with the mplayer for Windows package, google it). If not, you may need a hex editor...
