I have and Album all in .mp3 without any DRM or anything on them, but it won't show up in itunes. I've tried adding each file individually and all the music in that folder but neither of them work :saddowns:

The usual culprit for iTunes failing to import music is that it doesn't like the ID3 tags (iTunes is very strict on those things). You can try using a tag stripper to remove them (it may take multiple runs). If that works, readd all the tags (name, artist, album, genre) manually in iTunes.

Huh? All of my .mp3 files are fully tagged, down to the track number, and they import just fine.

You're mistaken, your tags aren't "corrupt" in the eyes of iTunes. If they have album art imported from any other application, the tags themselves are irreparably damaged and must be fully stripped.

Depends on the iPod, the newer database hashing formats have not been cracked, but if it's a classic iPod you should be able to find something on Google.
