It almost wouldn't surprise me if they nurfed the alien blaster. Because I imagine you are going to find a ton of them in Mothership Zeta, so it would make sense to have a crap load of over powered weapons. But I mean, if they do leave it, I'm still going to take a crap load and put them in my house. :iamafag:

Well, to fair the weapons do run on alien power cells which there is only a small, finite supply of it to be found. I guess the mothership environment gonna give you more of them.

Nah. The fallout games don't really go with each other that much. It is basically oblivion with so much more awesome. Open ended, do what the hell you want kind of game. So fun, never boring. You can make mods for the game as well. Custom models and such. Plenty of guns and other stuff you can use. Lots of abilities and perks, PLENTY of adventure. All the NPCs are dynamic and have a life of there own. So if they assign that a NPC wishes to be the best gun maker in the game, the NPC will automatically practice making guns every day and such. And nukes, lots of nukes. And you there is even a nuke gun. You can shoot 8 nukes at the same time if you want too.

What time zone are you in? Generally, from what I read, the DLC's don't show up until 3am EST in the US. At least according to the Fallout forum. I was just go to bed and wake up tomorrow and get it.

Edit: I'm in mountain time btw. I don't know, I'll wait till 1, and if nothing is up, I'm going to head to bed.

It's great. Also, it has like near $50 worth of add-ons, so after your done, you can get something like a new game with all the DLC's :iamafag:

FO3 isn't perfect by a long shot (Bethesda got lazy - everyone looks and sounds the same, literally, and the guns look godawful) but it's a worthy homage to the originals and an excellent game all the same. I'd still place Stalker as lord god king of the more recent post-apocs, but FO3 comes in a well-deserved second.
