I watched it yesterday, and it was pretty decent. The begining was meh, but the rest of it seemed pretty cool (even though the gunfights were obviously cheesy because of the stances and stuff).

Robocop. DEFINITELY. Even though it's made before 1980, its fucking top notch.
RoboCop was released in 1987, genius. But it is top-notch without a doubt.

Also, it deeply saddens me that nobody has posted Hard Boiled and The Killer. Those movies are the greatest action movies in the entire history of cinema. See for yourself, with the one-take hospital scene from Hard Boiled and the house shootout from The Killer, respectively.

Collateral is one of my favorite films. Decent amount of action, Cruise plays the role of a heartless killer believably, and Foxx got a well deserved Oscar nod for his acting. Plus it's a Michael Mann movie, so the gun play is as realistic as you will find in any movie.
