(yes that is dano's detail map, I don't think ill be using it for anything final though.)

Me and Sheer (killer9856) have been working on this map, though the rest of the team that worked on fracture will be working on this too. It use to be desert, but we got bored of that, and threw it into a grassy environment, it feels better. It just needs to be finished being textured, and we may make a new sky too. Nothing is final, I see most of the obvious Unwrap and texture problems. I have loved the way the map has been coming out, feel free to post suggestions and stuff as usual. :-3

how many players would you suggest for this map?
as in how big is it? (compare to another map, like danger canyon, death island, etc.)

No it's actually a pretty small-medium sized map. A little smaller than damnation.

You definitely should work on lighting and textures. I realize this isn't final, but all of your recent maps have had this really bland looking clear afternoon.sky lighting to them, which really doesn't do the map justice.

Maybe use Aether to get some really nice raytrace lightmaps, and you said you were working on textures, so I trust that they will look better. I realize there's only so much you can do with the engine, but now that we have these tools they should be taken advantage of.

Anyways though, the modeling and overall feel is really nice, good job higuy.

It's not done being textured, were going to use mental Ray lightmaps and stuff to.

I have the same problem with this map as I had with a map called 'Archive' a while back.

Why the fuck is the map called Immolate? I don't see the slightest bit of fire or fire symbolism anywhere.

The reason Immolate was taken was becuase the origional layout/idea of this map was called Immolate, though it was never released. My friend Sheer made the first one, but we decided to go back and make it alot better looking, and gameplay wise. So we decided to use that. Ask him, if you want.
