E: Ok, so let me get this straight:
There's a dude and a girl. The girl can bend time and has a major crush on the dude, but the dude is normal and doesn't have a crush on the girl. They join a school club which is actually watching over them at all times and makes sure that reality isn't fucked up. But they can't fuck up reality any further than 3 years before the story starts, which is when one of the dudes watching over them got his powers.
I don't see any kind of conflict here. Is there some evil monster (with tentacles) they have to fight? Or no? Ah, fuck it, I'm just confusing myself more.

Haruhi can end their reality (unconsciously) and make a new interesting one. Since none of them wants to die (assuming that they do) they try to keep her from raging. Mikuru is a time traveler and since 3 years ago they can't move any farther back in time. Nagato is an alien and got sent to observe and shit, and Itsuki is an esper. Every time Haruhi rages she creates something called closed space (unconsciously again) and there are these giants called celestials. After they kill the celestial the closed space goes away. So Haruhi meets Kyon in school. You find out later about time traveling three years back and Kyon actually sees a younger Haruhi who makes him draw some shit on the ground and he tells her that aliens and espers and time travelers exist at the high school they both go to in the future. That's how she meets him at high school. After they talk in high school and stuff she forms the SOS Brigade and they search for aliens and espers and time travelers. They find Itsuki, Yuki, and Mikuru and they are members. Haruhi doesn't know that they're an esper, alien, and time traveler (repectively). They all talk to Kyon about it and tell him that they have to keep Haruhi happy and stuff and not to tell her about her powers.
