So i just got a PS3

60 gig from my neighbor, paid $100 and a 360 controller, im not really familiar with the ps3 games, so can you guys recommend me with some good ones?

Definitely check out the store for some good old games.

I don't own a PS3, I just know what games are awesome on the system.

Apparently it caters more for hardcore fans of the series and since it's a series with such an emphasis on story, if you haven't played the previous games, you may have trouble understanding what's going on, which isn't such a large problem in most games but as you watch the game just as much as you play it, it can be a bit of a problem.

Wish I had a PS3 for it, I love the first 3 games and the battle between Metal Gear Rex and Ray looks incredible.

Get killzone 2, its great, I got my ps3 specifically for it after I played it at my friends house.

I have yet to get Killzone 2 for my PS3, it's on my to-buy list.

Out of all the games I have, I guess I can throw in my two cents. Most multiplatform games I'll admit should probably be bought on the 360, as it (usually) has the superior versions of the game (though not by as much as many would state).

However, out of the PS3 exclusives, I have thoroughly enjoyed Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2 (great online co-op, class based), Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (plays a bit like a movie, but definitely a lot of fun), both Motorstorm and Motorstorm: Pacific Rift (if you like a bit of arcade off-road racing), and LittleBigPlanet (some truly great community-made levels). My other 12 games are all available on the 360, so no real need to comment on those.
