Well when I was a kid. I always had a Game boy advance with me. Along with that were my pokemon games and my money making action replay. I always saw kids playing pokemon with there gameboys and asked them if they would like infinite rare candies for $2, which is like a lot of money when I was a kid. I must of made over $20 a day from doing that. My mother was wondering how I got the money, and asked if I was stealing money from her purse.

Good times.

The last level on Halo 2 when you had to kill Tartarus. Just found it amusing to fly a banshee into the chamber to kill tartarus.

Oh, and that glitchy pokemon creature when you ride up and down a coast to get x99 rare candies lol!

#6 (Credit goes to Llama Juice): Beating/killing my sister in a game, having her taddle, and one of my parents going "stop winning" or something lolzworthy like that.

#5: Hitting level 60/70, hopefully it'll be even better when I hit 80, considering I did most of this while Lich King was out.

E: http://flibitijibibo.awardspace.us/pictures/CN3089.png Should I play EVE instead? :saddowns:

E2: Hit 80, shit was so cash.

#4: Getting the 151st pokeymans. Was pretty awesome considering I was like... 7-8.

#3: The day I officially beat the NES Metroid. Goddamn that was hard for some reason. For that matter, all of the Metroid games were hard when I was a youngin'. The first game I thought was easy was Metroid Prime 3, and only because I was 16 by then.

#2: Beating (or hell, even just playing) SMB3 on the NES as a kid, then doing it again on the GBA as a slightly older kid.

#1: 120 stars in Mario 64. The first game I ever 100% completed, and I was 6 when I did it. At that very moment, I became a completionist whore.

I never figured out how to get that damn thing in.

That's an EXTRA 4 MB of memory! Bringing you all the way up to 8 MB!

All puns aside about gaming memory...

Probably NES - Super Mario Bros... my mom came home one day and saw me playing the game (I had to be either 4 or 5...) She looked at the TV and saw me running through the level and everything.. then looked at me... and I was looking away from the TV entirely. She asked what I was doing and I told her that I memorized the game already.

She went crazy until I told her I was watching the reflection off the window of the TV.

Either that or when playing Goldeneye with my sister and brother... and Jen wasn't very good at the game... so she'd always go taddle on me for killing her... and my dad would shout "Anthony, stop killing your sister." It always made me lol.

I had a friend over once to play UT99 with, and we were screwing around on Facing Worlds. I grab a Redeemer, hide on the side of my tower, behind a pillar, and i fired off a remote-controlled missile. I hear him in the next room asking me where I was, next thing I know I see him and start chasing him with the missile. He panics, tries to run and hide in a building, gets caught on a wall, and right as the missile hits I just hear him scream in a high pitch, "FUUUUUUUUUUUCK!"

Playing Halo 2 on an Xbox for the first time in my life.
Almost as good was the moment where I got Halo 2 Vista to work.
I was literally in shock for an entire hour, that finally, after 3 painful years of waiting, I was finally playing it!
Almost as exciting was playing Halo 3 co-op for 6 hours straight.
Last time I played Halo 3.
I paid 13 bucks for that(I cheated too - 13$ were for 2 hours).
Now, 1 and a half year later, I'm still waiting for the day I'll proudly own Halo 3.

Best memory is this one time in a clan match on Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries, we were outgunned because we only managed to field 2 of our 3 players, but we didn't want to get skunked (disqualified). So instead of not playing, we simply played 2 v 3, and didn't have a heavy mech. So we won the match 12,768 to 9,854 with only a light and a medium versus a light, medium, and a heavy. It was fun. :D

Battletech... 1 light mech kicking the arse out of a medium, an undamaged heavy, and and undamaged assault mech (the latter admittedly was a noob, and the heavy was long-range weaponed) and claiming the salvage.

My best video game memory is definitely my Pokemon Blue Version. I remember sitting in elementary school, I think fifth grade. I was sitting at my desk playing at the end of the day (IDK HOW I got that Gameboy Colour into school with me), and me and a friend were talking about pokemon, and all I remember is talking about Dragonair, and what a good pokemon it was.

Then he told me about Mew, that I had never heard of.

But just in general. I love my pokemon. I really hope that I never lose my gamesave on my blue version because it is PERFECT. :)

Well, one December I remember I came home from school to find an N64 with Star Wars: Episode One Racer plugged into a TV in our basement. I had never owned a console before (I was around 8 years old I think?), and I had always dreamed of it. It was explained to me that it was the neighbour's and he was kind enough to let us play on it for about two hours. Didn't think that was just an unrealistic statement at the time. At that time in my life, the way my parents were, I expected I'd never own a video game console. Very depressing.

Fast forward to two weeks later, Christmas Day. Favourite memory with video games? I open up a big box with my name on it: the same damn N64 inside. Holy sheeit! Must've spent the next four or five months playing Star Wars: Episode One Racer constantly. Four or five months specifically 'cause it took that long before I'd be able to get another N64 game. Still one of my favourite games of all time.

EDIT: Another memory: forgot that one December in 1999, opening up a small box to find Ocarina of Time.

The moon crashes into the clock tower and the game sends you back to the mask salesman on the first day. More than likely, it adds 1 to your death counter.

It's funny, the game never actually gives you a "GAME OVER" message, ever. It's implied, but it doesn't rub it in your face.
