View Full Version : A new Map idea to discuss

I had the idea of a Tower Defense type map for Halo CE and I wonder if there's anyone who wants to either get in on the creation of or give some ideas for such a map.
At first due to the ai problem it would be a Single Player map unless we could fix it.
Right now it's still only an idea, so if you post one and it's possible through scripting or Open Sauce I'll let you know.
We could do it like Elemental TD or we could do it like Desktop TD.

This reminds me of some halo ce sniper map... There are about 10 levels, each level you have targets to shoot, and get more difcult. (not AI, actual Moving tragets) workes flawless once you destroy the targets. you move on to the next level via elavator that becomes available to next level after you finished the said level.
You could try re creating this idea but instead of you moving onto the next level you could some how make it to your idea where your not moving. The map synthed online as with (cuz no ai and wut no) If anyone knows the name of the map i'm thinking of please share i would like to recreate old memorys.
But i'm sure this is very diffucult to make.. don't give up..

Ive always wanted to make a map like a TOP. But unfortunately I havent had the time to do it.

The map's called Target practice. And no it didn't sync (Elevator and doors, anyways.
This map idea shouldn't be toooo difficult (someone has a point system scripted that I might ask if I could use, or I could use an Open-Sauce/Yelo like app called aRCANe for the points/upgrading.
As far as levels go that's the easy part methinks. The only problem is upgrades/upgrade paths.
