Pretty much exactly what the title says, I want to buy a webcam. Price range would be $50 usd or less. I want good quality stuff too.
Suggestions?

Quality is always price dependent, i got a couple of cams.. anything below $50 aint that good, unstable image, color not that good etc.etc. Once you go over $100 you get good images, rock steady and simply good quality. Still, if you get one for $50 you should get a fair quality. Depends on your needs i guess.

Video blogging is about it. I have good lighting in my room most of the day, so if a camera takes good day videos it should work fine.

I hear a lot of good things about the video in the Microsoft LifeCam Vx3000, the audio apparently is piss poor though. If you already have a mic or don't mind ordering a mic and a webcam I'd probably go for this one.

I know, it's boring as fuck... but that's the genreal video quality of the camera and she says that the audio got off sync when uploaded to youtube 'cause she didn't compress the video properly or somethin.

Or if you just want the camera and the CD... apparently you can buy it here and skip the packaging?
