I recently updated the graphics driver for my 7600GS, and when I did, something strange started to happen.

About 2 minutes after I turn on my PC, my PC takes whatever is in the middle of the screen at that moment, and displays that over everything. Right now I am looking at a grey square in the middle of my screen, because I had a grey window open. It isn't always a green square. It is whatever was on 2mins after I turned my PC on.

This isn't the first time I used this driver on this PC, but last time I did, this didn't happen.

Halp?

Edit: Rebooted my PC, and didn't open any windows for a couple minutes (the two minutes is an estimate), and now it is the hand of George Carlin in the middle of my screen appearing over everything, because that is what my desktop has in the middle of it.

Edit2: If anyone could find an older driver, that would help.

Edit3: It seems to not happen when I change the settings to 16bit color. I'm closing this, and I'll use 16bit colors till XFX comes up with a fix for this.
