Radiosity

I spent two hours fixing errors tool gave me, which is a normal part of making maps, but then when I got it to Sapien, I ran radiosity and got this:

Radiosity error: OUT OF MEMORY.

Wat.

So, naturally I went to tool

running lightmaps, press control c if this is not correct.....
done

I was like, alright, good it worked, I went into sapien and saw that tool did NOT run lightmaps and that it just said it did.

Is there a debug.wrl in your halo directory? That's where sapien exports errors for lightmaps.
