View Full Version : Modding SP again, but getting problems

I'm almost certain this has been heard of before, but I can't seem to find a mention of it.

I'm trying to get into SP again, so I went ahead and extracted all the required tags from b30 (vanilla Halo) using HEK+. Level compiles fine, but when I start it, the intro cinematic is fuxed: The pelicans dip into the water, miss the beach, and don't even unload me.

You pelican physics were molested by HEK+. I fix it by ripping pelican physics from stock b30 and injecting them into the modded map using the old HMTv3.5.

You have to hex the map header to open it in HMT though.

Yeah, that was it.

I happened to have my really old tags (back when I had a bunch of extra bullshit from my previous campaign screwing) backed up, and was able to locate the proper tag there. I wanted to start with a clean tagset, so I tried my best not to use those.
