I picked the maps that I think will play the best.
PS3 and PC versions will be released at the same time.
Suggestions? Any other maps you think would make good additions? I can't accurately port anything over 10k triangles though.

I'd think that the AOTCR bsp with the big building thingy would be good for UT3's multipayer.

When you say DM, are you including TDM as well? I'd love to have a TDM blood gulch.

Inferno
August 8th, 2009, 07:37 PM
Yeah DM includes TDM and some other gametypes.

What do you guys think about chiron and ratrace?

This is making me RAGE. I have the sounds for chill out ingame but they are too quiet. If I make them any louder in wavepad it will hit the volume max and mess up the sound. HOW DO I MAKE THEM LOUDER INGAME!

It's annoying me so much right now.

Have you tried using a free program called audacity? It's a pretty nice audio editor. The only problem I've run into in the past is that it isn't compatible with .ogg.

If that's true, it's the most ironic thing I've heard:
- Ogg Vorbis is the leading open source audio format. FOSSites like myself look for OGG players instead of MP3 players.
- Audacity is the leading open source audio editor. If you need to mix and modify on Linux, you use Audacity.

How does that fix my problem in anyway? Wavepad is fine.

Any one up for longest?

Use Goldwave (http://www.goldwave.com/release.php#download). It's just a demo, but all the features are unlocked for I think up to 10,000 uses or so.

Inferno

Ugh.

That's not the problem. The problem is that it's quiet ingame and I don't want to make the wav itself louder. How do I multiply the volume in the engine.

Inferno

TBQH guys. The smaller halo maps play better.

Wizard is some fun shit for 1 on 1. Me and a friend went a few rounds on it.

the reason the larger maps are getting cut is because, the meshes need to be split up so many times in order to play smoothly. I know Inferno had the BG bsp split into many section, and it was lagging the PS3, even once and a while on 1 vs 1. Though Chillout was fine.

Inferno
August 10th, 2009, 07:48 PM
I have BG in 10 fucking parts.

Still lags.

Fuck it.

Inferno
August 11th, 2009, 05:08 PM
Sigh... I've thought about BG a little more.

I need to put it in along with sidewinder regardless of how well it works. BG will attract way more downloads than the other maps and even if some people can't play BG they will download and try the other maps.

Well, now that I found a good video driver, I am interested in this project.

I am interested in what it can produce, especially with Halo's more arena style maps (one of Halo strengths).
