I need some help with the details on it. I have put a few on it, but does anyone know what the others are ment to say or look like?

The one on the clip is an M with what kind of looks like an arrow... The details on the laser site are just Chinese characters (Don't think it's Japanese, could be wrong altogether though lol). And if I had to guess, I think the random scribles up top would be the make of the gun. Or the model number.

For one, you could use higher-quality reference.

The one on the grip is a penis pointing down with the head chopped off.

The Korean (Hangul) symbols are the initials of the texture designer, I believe. They are flipped, so it's this side (http://tehlag.modacity.net/one/pix/refandsuch/Halo3-ODST_Automag-Pistol-04.jpg) that shows them correctly. I can't find a perfect match for the second one, but the first one should be right.

That is looking awesome hunter! Is the details on the top part already baked or is it just floating details? :o

They are all floating details, just wondering if they are right?
Still can't get them to bake... the cage won't push out correctly for some reason, if I export it and use the push modifier the geometry goes all fucked up... :/ Also, the floating geometry always seems to be a difference shade than the geometry under it...
The two bolts also won't bake at all, then justhave some stupid black streaks going over them :/

I don't know much about floating details, I've only recently started looking it up, but I think the "vents" on the bottom half should be floating, as well as the entire part of those four indentations on the top half, not just the pieces in the center.

No, those are fine, but I suggest making the top 4 indents part of the main mesh instead of floating.
the 4 extrusion near the center of the sides could also use a bit more detail since it's floating. It doesn't have to be floating since they're the same shape as that entire section.

I find the ODST pistol kind of ugly really. It's way to boxy.

I have started to make a high poly version of the whole weapon, flating geometry makes thing too awkward...
