Well I do have a problem with it skipping frames sometimes.
normally my fps is 120 or higher but sometimes it just freezes and locks up at 15 for like 3 seconds then goes back to normal...

Is this a 64 bit problem as well?

You might need to ask around for the answer to that. I use 64 bit windows 7 and have never had a dropping FPS problem.

When you've launched Halo, open task manager and open the processes tab. Right click on the haloce.exe process and choose "set affinity". Make sure it is only allowed to use one processor core.

I think you have to do this every time halo starts, assuming this fixes the problem.

I had this problem too.

Download the latest 4000 series driver on it's own.

Then restart. That should do the trick. It should work if you have a stuttery fps where games just keep jumping up and down from high to low.
