Institute for Human Continuity

I saw a commercial about this and laughed when I saw it. Has anyone else seen or heard about this. They have a site with some videos and information about 2012 and a lottery which people register and get a chance to go to a facility they've built. Apparently 11 million people have already registered.

Join the lottery to have a fair chance of surviving 2012 gogogo.

I FUCKING CALLED IT
i was with my family when they aired this commercial, and everyone was like "wow oh my god we should go register". nobody saw the little box that said "this film is not yet rated". at that moment my exact thought was "within the next few days somebody at modacity will post this and wtf over it"

It's not a viral ad campaign because it says "Sony Pictures" in the corner.

Rule #1 of viral ad campaigns is you can't reveal that it's an ad.

just fyi

also, lol

The commercial said that a solar occurence in 2012 will cause life on earth to be wiped out. Never mind the fact that you can't predict the suns patterns.

When I first saw the commercial, I thought: the pictures for this ad seem way too good to be from a organization for the betterment of humanity. Then I saw the end of the commercial, saying this film is not yet rated, so I realized it was a movie and not real.
