Why can't randoms join? Why do they have to download Vent just to play in your server?

I hate going on rants. Generally I look like an ass when I do. I also tend to rant about Trolls. And you know what? A part of me thinks you are a troll. A part of me wants to think that no one could be this stupid. But you don't just make stupid posts, you do stupid things. You play Halo CE more then any human should. You run these servers. I don't know where to start with you.

I could start on your total disregard for decisions made by admins. You view Admins on a level below moderators. The Admins (Polar, Jcap, and Ghost) are the ones who run this site, and in Ghost's case, OWN it. You open up new threads complaining about Admins closing other threads (Here (http://www.modacity.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13448)), and you broke a rule set forward by Polar (http://www.modacity.net/forums/showpost.php?p=326721&postcount=14) in one of your own threads. Show some respect for the Modacity staff if you wish to continue posting here.

I could then continue with your poor grammar. On any other forum, this would just be me bitching and moaning, but on Modacity it is in the damn AUP to make coherent posts (something which you are not doing). I can't understand a damn thing you are saying half the time.

I could then conclude my rant with your arrogance. The general tone of your threads is that you are the leader of the Halo Custom Edition community. The arrogance that there is a leader is in itself insulting, but naming yourself as the leader is just plain, well, arrogant (I feel too lazy to get out my Thesaurus). You feel that Halo CE is "serious business", and you play for hours a day, cut through any casual clans and servers, and post updates of your servers and say they are an update of the entirety of Halo CE/PC.

Sam, if that is your name (I'm not acting like you are all cloaked in mystery here, I'm just trying to remember if Sam is your actual name), you need to stop going down this road. Look at comments left in your Reputation, look at the general tone of responses, shit, look at other people's posts for inspiration on how you should post, just please, change the way you post.

I went on this rant for two reasons:
1) Because I am bored and Steam is acting up on me (so I can't play TF2), and
2) I don't know why, but I see some hope in you Sam. The Halo CE community is small. I don't think we should organize into one giant clan, or have a leader of CE, but I think we should try as little as possible to alienate players. If you improve, you could be a valuable member to the community. You have a server, and you seem to have a good taste in maps. Fix your attitude, and I can see you being a very liked member in this community.

If you don't believe in clans, why do you keep listing every CE clan you can think of at the top of your threads? HIV has nothing to do with whatever you're doing, so why are you listing us?

No Sam, nothing is wrong with wanting to contribute. However, this thread is not headed anywhere good right now though until someone can clean it up, which I don't have the time to right now. P0lar has said it better - we appreciate that you're trying to get stuff going but your presentation kinda makes people not take you seriously.

Sam, I have tried to make your first post more presentable and clean up the bad posts in here. To everyone else: I have some issues with leaving Sdavis' post up but it honestly says stuff that needs to be said, so it's staying. If anyone feels further need to yell at Sam for his posting habits or whatever, do it via PM or rep. Keep discussion in this thread on the topic of his gamenight(s).

I'm not quite sure you understand, it is essentially open to everyone, but only the everyone who

a) Can use vent

b) Will try to stay for the entire thing

You don't have to pay for a subscription or anything for vent, someone just needs to buy a server and anyone who has vent installed can join.
