I preordered in-store, and I had no idea that Microsoft had burned so many copies of ODST. I live in a city of 80,000 people, and a friend of mine who works at Best Buy says they got half of a Semi-Truck full of boxes for ODST. There were shelves full of the game when I went to pick it up last week. I thought the May thing was just so that they had time to advertise the game, not so they could burn enough copies for every person in the US.
