Anyone want to run this tonight on Expert (campaign + survival)? I have a test from 6:30-7:30, but I can play all night if I want after that.

The first level should be split. It's so long the infected have no issue taking down the survivors. Well, save for them being really fucking bad.

Played through with Aerowyn, Reaper, and one of his friends tonight (dunno if he's a member here).
1st and biggest complaint: The chapters really should have been split it into 4, not 2. We probably went through the first half of chapter 2 a billion times more than the second half. It's just a pain getting all the way to the final part, getting your ass kicked, then having to trek all the way through that bullshit just to try again.
2nd: Level design is fucking horrible in several places. Often, we would go through a building, and then come out to the door just a few feet away from the original. What's the point? Nothing's in the building (sometimes literally; just a bunch of empty warehouses or some shit), so why bother putting it there? And if it's not confusing to navigate, it just looks dull. The campaign is 95% brick buildings, 5% fences. Don't tell me that you could have at least made the two chapters look different. In fact, a paraphrased excerpt from our game:
"This looks like it was made by a Valve trainee."
"'Hey, here's how to use Hammer.'"
"I guess all the good guys were on L4D2."
On the bright side, Aerowyn provided us with lovely music and wacky sound effects.

Honestly, I enjoyed it. It's the perfect length for a versus game, and me and a bunch of tf2 buddies were more than happy to play it about 8 times together today, without losing interest.
I'd like to see a bunch of new levels around this length added, just to mix it up with fun to play maps that don't take ridiculously long on versus like the other ones.
My only gripe would be not splitting the first stage into two.

the first map is really easy Selendick, only part that sucks is the event if your team is retarded (aka .. lol u know who!!)
The finale is brutal though, its so fun. Was playing with Katana and he was the only survivor to actually survive

Three of our four survived the finale, mainly because the two brothers were so busy racing to restart the generator I had to try revive Kolby on my own while getting raped from every direction. They both got taken down and one died before I could get back to him. His own fault. Other than that there was one other death, his brother about halfway through. This was on advanced; we weren't the greatest team ever, we would've been slaughtered on any of the original campaigns. The fact that most of the map consists of open spaces and doors meant that Kolby took off and Troy started lagging behind with me, splitting our team into two individuals and a pair for the majority of the game. The massive amount of room meant we could actually just walk right around the infected half the time and hose them from behind effortlessly.
All told, it's good for quick games, but it's not exactly a challenge until you hit the finale. Even then, a good team should get through alright.

Vs. is actually harder than I thought it'd be, for both teams.

Crash Course on Expert is probably the hardest campaign in the game. Loads of items/weapons, but you're punished brutally D:

You're given room to manoeuvre though, something there's not a lot of in other campaigns. As long as you don't let the open spaces break your team apart, you should be fine for most of it.

I played this on Easy just to see what would happen.
Guess what?
3 TANKS SPAWNED ON THE FIRST LEVEL.
I am not joking, I got three tanks, on the first level. I must have gotten hit with the unlucky stick, I mean god.
However the dlc was fun, that wall had me laughing for a while.

tanks on easy are about as easy to kill as normal infected. if anything, there isn't enough tanks on easy!
