pc problamo

Well, I was just on my computer and it turned off on me. I try pressing the power button and it won't turn on. First time it's done this. The motherboards light is green, so it's still getting electricity… should I give it a while or something or should I be kinda worried ? -iPhone post

Try taking out 1 ram stick at a time, try to boot up, and seeing if one of them died. This has happened to me twice lol.

tried it, and eventually took out both and it still didn't work
e: and its not a fualty connection to the power button, because i tried unplugging it and putting it back in, and when I pressed it, my LED lights flickered then went out.

any help? I'd rather not have to take my pc somewhere to get it fixed when it could be easy. Could it be a virus?

Do you have a new psu to try?
Also, maybe your comp just has aids?

Yeah it's just about for-certain not a virus (a virus would load fine right up until Windows starts to load and then do something funny) but from what you described -- it seems like you just get a black screen. What does it SOUND like when you try to turn it on?

It dosen't even come on.

could be your power button too, i've had the wires for that come loose before
