Wow, I just told this to someone on MSN. Creeeeepy.

Why'd they even bother. It's not much different to family guy, just that now it includes exclusive black jokes!

I knew it was going to be shit the moment I saw the title image:

It's the same fucking show with black people, down to the "new" family.

It's sad knowing that an executive somewhere thought this was really worth replacing King of the Hill with. ~Edited for Phopo. Yeah, wrong word. Point remains valid, sort of...

Note to Seth: Stick to one extremely left-winged show and be done with it. In fact, fuck you, don't even go with one. Robot Chicken does the exact same shit as your original show (post-season 2) and better.

It's sad knowing that an executive somewhere thought this was really worth canceling King of the Hill for.Errr... Mike Judge stopped producing King of the Hill because he has a new show... and he was running out of ideas on the old one.

I find it hilarious that the show's main character is voiced by a white guy.

I watched the Pilot on Hulu, and while there were a few good parts in the episode, it felt like the character introductions were far too forced.

And it does feel very much like a Family Guy clone. Setting of the four friends, the same family, etc.

What the fuck is this shit? Family guy for BET?

I laughed they used purple for the title of the show.

Well, that's kinda how she acts too. After all, she is black. :realsmug:

I watched the first episode, I honestly liked it. I needed another family guy style show :iamafag:

I thought it was really just more of the same, which is not what Family Guy needs right now. Let's just hope the new season of Futurama doesn't fall into this trap :smith:

It was like family guy with a little less random.
Lets see what we have here:

A fat misguided father. Peter? Nay, cleveland
A (supposedly) hot wife. Lois? Nay, Dona.
A troublesome talking baby. Stewie? No, but i dont remember the kids name. whatever
A problematic daughter. Meg? Naw, meg wasn't problematic, just not an interesting enough character until they made her hated by everyone.
A fat fuck dumb son. Chris? Cleveland junior.

The end.

I don't get why they would choose Cleveland over all the other characters for a new show. He's not exactly the most interesting character, or even close. If they wanted to go outside of the Griffin family, Quagmire would've been a better choice. His perverted shenanigans would get good ratings for sure.

Cleveland was the only character that had background drama.

Like his wife leaving him.

Thank god you told me, I was considering watching it. Also yeah quagmire would have been alot more interesting, but yeah it would get too repetitive and over the top.

I don't even notice him there most of the time.

I would like to see Stewie and Brian get their own show, doubt that's ever going to happen though.

Wasn't much of a difference between this show ans American Dad. It's not even funny.

Yeah. It was ok I suppose. I giggled a couple of times. The bear is weird though, even for family guy. I dunno, the whole thing just seems so over the top cliche, that it's funny.
